Pointing System

Skilled Visa Points Test (Australia)

The Australian skilled migration system uses a points-based test for visas such as Subclass 189 (Independent), Subclass 190 (Nominated), and Subclass 491 (Regional).

Applicants must score at least 65 points to be eligible, but higher scores improve the chances of receiving an invitation.

Points are calculated based on age, English ability, work experience, qualifications, and other factors.
