After selecting one or more States or Territories, you must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) through SkillSelect with your occupation, skills, and qualifications. SkillSelect will calculate your points score, and if it is competitive, your profile may be reviewed by State or Territory authorities for nomination.
If you are nominated, you will receive an invitation to apply for the visa and must submit your application within 60 days.
You can lodge your EOI from inside or outside Australia. You can also apply for the visa from either location. If applying from within Australia, you must hold a valid visa or bridging visa. A bridging visa may allow you to stay while your application is being processed.
